5 days ago I wanted to turn foot illumination in my Mazda 6
As everyone knows to have foot illumination you have to use RBCM
I own Ford Focus mk3 with footlight illumination - it is present (illumination) durring driving but dimmed.
I want to have same behaviour in Mazda. As I underestanf correctly to heve it I need to connect 1D/1B
BUT! in my RBCM:
R_BCM — Rear Body Control Module
Part number: TK52-675Y0-B
Calibration level: TK52-675Y0-B
Strategy : TK52-675Y0-B-00
1D is DEAD! when I connect diode to 1D/1B - nothing happened :(
I have checked 1E/1F - and it is OK - diode is working.
I have an idea that my BCM lack functionality on 1D pin :( I havestarted with some RBCM research for Mazda 6 / CX-5
Everybody tells that there should be no difference between Mazda 6 and Mazda CX-5 RBCM.
RBCM - its number (part number?) is the same across Mazda 3 / 6 / CX-5 and CX-9
Months are the letters od alfabet: A - January / B - February ..
So the question is: Why in my case (RBCM form 2016y) 1D is not working? Should I activate Illumination first ???
